Ford Econoline 1969-2004Change

Sorry to have to sell this unit as we no longer need it and need the space. It has been a very reliable vehicle.
A very comfortable van to drive. Ideal. Have used as an extra bedroom, great for family re-unions and weekend camper.
I have used this as a field studio.
Would be great for fishing or hunting.

If anyone remembers the old snub nosed Econoline Van, then you will know what I am saying. Needless to say that with the engine basically sitting right in your lap, actually talking with anyone was totally out of the question, but did it make a great "boogie van". We even had the fake whit fur on the dash, overhead everywhere and of course the have to have built up bed in the back with storage room underneath it...then of course you had to have the side pipes, noise was already too loud anyway, so what's the difference..lol. We put many, many miles on this boogie van and drove it every day to work, plus extra play on the weekends. We had the good ole 302 motor and it ran most of the time without any problems...was fun to drive...

This was a very reliable vehicle for lugging cargo around town. The fuel consumption was very high for a cargo van, but the engine was powerful and did not feel bogged down when cargo was at capacity. There was quite a bit of wind noise when travelling on the highway with this van, but it still felt sturdy and you did not feel like it would blow over. Visibility and size/placement of mirrors gave good coverage when driving this van. The radiator & gas pump were replaced once, aside from that regular maintenance kept the van running well. This van was driven pretty hard and was constantly full of cargo but was always reliable .
