Toyota Highlander Hybrid 2010
Four Highlander and three Highlander Hybrid models offer a choice of three drivetrains (FWD, AWD and Hybrid AWD) and seven or eight-seat configurations. Highlander models feature a 3.5-litre V6 with a six-speed automatic, plus a choice of front-wheel drive or all-weather all-wheel drivetrains. Hybrid models feature the Toyota Hybrid Synergy Drive, built around a 3.5L V6 Atkinson-cycle engine, an electronically controlled CVT, electric motor/generator and a powerful traction battery — all under the direction of a power management system. The Hybrid features AWD-i, for superior traction and fuel efficiency. There are four Highlander trim levels (LE, LE AWD, XLE AWD and Limited AWD) and three Hybrid trims (LE, XLE and Limited.) All models are equipped with a display audio system with touchscreen, dual-zone climate control, power door locks with keyless entry; power windows, tilt/telescoping steering column, power mirrors with integrated signal lamps, front windshield de-icer and more.

2006 Toyota Highlander Hybrid

Good ride
Such a comfortable and balance ride, especially on smooth road you could feel the warmness of the sound of the engine. So spacious with a third row seating for a family of five to go all out at once. No need to complain about kids noise as they are engaged with DVD system to calm them. Excellent fuel consumption as it has a hybrid. Very nice Family Suv.
Great Toyota.

Great ride and great on gas.
Comfortable ride for my family of five, most importantly is that the gas consumption is ok. I like this ride only that i want to something new. The kids are busy watching dvd and with that there is not too much disturbance. Very easy to maintain make of suv, on the road its balance is amazing and as a tall person i easily get in and out without bending too much. The heated seat keeps me warm especially when i am in a hurry going out during winter. With over a year of ownership i have enjoyed this ride and it have been of use to my family.

2013 Toyota Highlander Hybrid

VERY RELIABLE!
THE BEST!Advancing safety technology over the past decade has brought significant improvements to SUV safety. Today’s SUVs not only include models built with rugged body-on-frame construction, which makes them capable of heading off-road, but also crossover models, which are less rugged but offer a more comfortable, carlike performance.

Amazing Reliable Vehicle
At 216,000 kms not a single issue to talk about.

I have been spoiled with this 7 seater and having a seriously hard time switching it out.
If only the seating configuration was 2-2-3 with a passthrough

Smooth as silk
As is Toyota's reputation, the manufacturer focused on substance rather than style. Not the fanciest SUV on the market and doesn't have all the fancy options but one word "Awesome". Was scared to buy a hybrid when we first bought it but Toyota has done their research and built an amazing machine in the Highlander Hybrid. It has been an absolute pleasure to own.

Great car. Amazing fuel economy. A lot of room for people and cargo. I wish it had a timing chain instead of the timing belt. I would buy another one.

Confortable et econo
This is a very good SUV for the family. This car is very safe, very reliable, very economic if you drive it wisely. You can have an average about 7,7 l/100 km if you drive it with tactic. When you are in traffic just hit the EV button.

A great ride
Can't say enough good about this vehicle. Approaching 300K and runs like a charm. Comfortable, great riding car. Best mileage is stop and go highway. Takes a bit of time to learn how to drive it for fuel economy but once you get it....

comfortable and quiet ride. I am very happy with the performance of this car but I am disappointed with the fuel economy and can not justify quite a higher price for this model for its fuel economy.

A Very Well Build Automobile
Purchased this car new and it still looks that way. Easy and comfortable to drive.
Brakes continue to be a week spot and have been the only issue that keeps repeating itself for different reasons.
Rear wheel bearing needed replacement as did the water pump. But hey! the "truck" has 180,000 KM...re-read the first line!

Good reliable vehicle
Driving this vehicle is a pleasure if you keep in mind that it is not a race car. Pick-up is steady. The interior is nicely furnished with close to luxury feel to the entire vehicle. My one disappointment is the gas mileage, I expect it to be better.

Toyota Quality Speaks for it's self!
Running at 180,000 kms without one single issue or problem to report. The myths about hybrid problems is just that; a myth.
Only complaint is the premature tire wear due to the all-wheel drive system and 19" tires are not cheap! Would i recommend this vehicle? Absolutely without hesitation!

Hybrid Hylander almost perfect
I've owned this car for a little over 2 years and by far the best vehicle I have ever owned. Interior room is so spacious with capacity for up to 7 people. I'm a soccer mom so I need all the space I can get. Performance and handling are top notch. I've also tried other large SUVs of similar types. This by far is the most fuel efficient.

Has delivered in all aspects
Since buying this car 4 months ago I have thoroughly enjoyed everything I bought it for. Bluetooth works great, all the room I need and in the future, same fuel economy as my old small suv which was what I was expecting. good towing power,
This car has made me happy to drive every day, there is nothing I regret.

2009 Toyota Highlander Hybrid

Trim: Hybrid 5-seat
by shanes on 10-10-2012
Big SUV with excellent fuel economy
We love our Highlander. It's nice and big but at the same time it has excellent gas mileage. We do mostly city driving and have been getting 8.4L/100 with the A/C on this summer.

This is the five seat version and not the seven seat. We looked at the seven seat but couldn't imaging how anyone actually fitting into the third row.

This car was used in Vancouver so we didn't have challenging winter driving. But in the ice and light snow it was very solid. The stock tires are low friction to increase fuel economy so we put in all seasons which are better in the rain and ice.

When driving the car it's quite smooth and quiet. The ride is soft and this makes it great on long highway trips.

The interior is nice and roomy and comfortably fits my 6'5" frame in both the driver's seat and front passenger. The rear seats are nice as well with the middle seat area removable to it feels like two captain seats. The trunk area isn't the best - it has a small covered hatch for storing things out of view but didn't really include anything to keep your groceries from sliding all over the place.

The spare tire is a major pain in the neck. It's up under the vehicle and hard to gain access to. In fact, when the low pressure warning came on for it the guys at the garage couldn't figure out how to get it down to inflate it.

Overall we loved this car and highly recommend it.
