1998 Chevrolet Corvette

by Conperg on 10-22-2012
Great fun, great handling at high speeds.
The most fun I have had in car. Summer road trips around BC will be very memorable times.
Need the cash or would not be selling.

1991 Chevrolet Corvette

King of the hill
I still remember my dad picking my up from junior high school in this thing. All the kids walking towards it whispering how awesome it was. After that, everyone thought I was cool! Ok, well my dad was cool at least.

At the time it was the ZR-1 and the Viper neck and neck for the most awesome car on the road. The viper had an acceleration edge, the ZR-1 had a top speed.

The ZR-1 of that era put out about 400hp. back in those days it was a lot. While todays ZR-1 use the simple pushrod engine design with a supercharger. The 90's ZR-1 used a normally aspirated DOHC 4 valve per cylinder all aluminium v8. It was and still is the most complex engine Chevy ever put into a corvette. They are pretty rare cars and although reliable, it would not be easy to source parts.

2008 Chevrolet Corvette

A muscle car with some style
This generation came 3 years after a major overhaul of the Vette but they were still making refinements to the design, all of which I think are positive. It wasn't cheap going up over $70k for a fully loaded model. The handling of this version is way better than in past Vettes. You really feel in control. Huge horsepower makes it really fun to drive. If you're looking for a great muscle car and can get a good price, this is an excellent choice.

Great Car for the price
The amount of power is phenomenal and it handles like its on rails. Great looks and sounds great. I wish they put more effort in the interior with better materials but other than that you cannot beat it for the price.
It compares to European cars that cost far more.
I drove it from Vancouver to Grande Prairie and averaged over 26 mpg. That is great for an LS1 V8 that sounds like thunder when you open the throttle.
Thank you Chevrolet

1999 Corvette C5
I have had this car for a little over a year now. Car is FAST, it runs very well. The interior however is not the best for comfort but your not buying this style of car for comfort. This car is a racing car.

1985 Chevrolet Corvette

FUN!! Tight to the curves, clear sailing on the straightaways. Fantastic accelerations needed.
Doug Nash 4 speed manual, 3 speed auto overdrive. Shifts well. Holds tight to the road. Great gas mileage. Digital dash. Bright red, removable, see through targa top. Original upholstery. Meticulously maintained.

1978 Chevrolet Corvette

The BEST Corvette !!
My wife finally allowed me to get the one car that is the dream of a lot of men. Mine had always been a Corvette and we were able to find a mint condition 25th Anniversary model with the correct colour combo (Silver with the Carbon lower stripe) and the red leather interior. Ours had the T-Top's and came with the hard and glass versions. There is nothing and I mean NOTHING else on the road today more fun than a Corvette. Being only a 2 seater, it gave my wife and I a chance to really go somewhere without anyone in tow. We drove all around the west provinces and northwestern US and always found someone waving to us or asking to take photos beside our Vette....this is one car we really did shed some tears over when we had to sell...
