Ram has just revealed pricing for their new 2017 Power Wagon. The off-road-ready Ram will start at $58,945.
Ram calls it "the most capable off-road truck in America." That's a strong claim, so what backs it up? The truck is based on the Ram 2500 pickup but is restyled and modified for off-road use.
Under the hood is a 410 hp, 6.4L Hemi V8 that puts down 429 lb-ft of torque. The suspension is coil springs front and rear, but there are Bilstein shocks and 33-inch tires. Electronically locking differentials front and rear help keep those tires spinning. The sway bars can disconnect to increase suspension travel and articulation, helping to climb rocks and navigate obstacles. There are skid plates to protect the underside, and there are tow hooks and a 5,455 kg winch.
The look is changed as well, with a Ram Rebel style grille and Power Wagon decals outside. Inside, there are Power Wagon embroidered seats with a tire tread seat cover pattern, and special badging.
If you want a more luxurious trail experience, a $4,995 leather package adds heated and ventilated leather seats, front and rear park assist with cameras, and a nine-speaker Alpine stereo with Uconnect 8.4-inch screen.
