For 2012, the Volvo C70 convertible undergoes trim changes. There are new trim designations, with trim levels instead of packages. New standard equipment includes Bluetooth audio streaming, sovereign hide premium leather upholstery, heated seats and a rain sensor.
The C70 uses a turbocharged 2.5-litre inline engine with five-speed automatic transmission. Its three-piece roof folds automatically in thirty seconds and contains a normal-sized heated glass rear window.
Features on the T5 include 17-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control, front and rear fog lights, keyless entry, top-down double-locking door deadbolt system, outside temperature gauge, heated mirrors, variable intermittent wipers with rain sensor, stainless steel door sills, tilt and telescopic three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel with aluminum inlays and audio controls, heated power-adjustable leather seats, driver’s side memory, auto-dimming rearview mirror, Bluetooth connectivity, cruise control, illuminated vanity mirrors, auto up/down windows, trip computer, CD/MP3 stereo with auxiliary input and USB port, Sirius satellite radio, streaming audio, and polished exhaust pipes.
The Premier Plus adds keyless drive, garage door opener, rear park assist and compass.
The Platinum adds premium sound system and navigation system.
