Limited-edition pickups are almost more common than the "regular" editions these days, but Ram is hoping that crowds will be abuzz, and swarming to showrooms later this month, when the new limited-edition Stinger Yellow Sport 1500 pickup arrives and goes on sale at your local Ram hive...I mean dealer. Ok, now that I've gotten all of the puns out of the way, here's a little more about the truck.
It's not quite the monster black and yellow Ram 3500 we featured a few months ago, but this Ram 1500 Stinger Yellow Sport is based on the Ram 1500 Sport trim. It will feature a 395 hp 5.7L Hemi V8, eight-speed automatic and 20-inch wheels. You can have your choice of cab, as long as you choose a Crew Cab, and it will come in 4x4 only. The outside will be stinger yellow with black stinger stripes on a vented hood. Inside, the cab will be mostly black, with black chrome and yellow details. There will be yellow accent stitching, and embroidery on the seats, with an accent colour Ram logo on the headrests. The Stinger Yellow Sport will also have the 8.4-inch Uconnect infotainment system with back-up camera.
The truck should arrive at dealers later this month, with an MSRP of $55,390.
