Nissan has announced pricing for their 2017 Titan pickups with the 5.6L gas V8 engine. They're announcing only the four-door crew-cab models, with single-cab and diesel pricing to follow later in the year. The "regular-duty" Titan is a new model for 2017. It's a different frame and body compared with the XD, and intended for the 1/2 ton market. The big change to the XD for 2017 is a longer warranty. Nissan is boasting "Canada's best truck warranty" by offering 5 years, 160,000 km bumper to bumper coverage on the regular duty Titan and Titan XD heavy-duty trucks. Titan XD prices show a bump of between $1,350 and $1,900 compared with the outgoing model, with no other changes mentioned, which suggests that the longer warranty isn't exactly free.
The trucks have 390 hp from the gas V8, and all come with four-wheel drive and a seven-speed automatic transmission. 2017 models should be arriving at dealers later this month.
