2018 Toyota Yaris Hatch: More Stuff, Less Money

The Toyota Yaris hatch gets a new look front and rear for 2018, along with revised interiors and extra comfort and convenience features. Despite the extra content, prices drop. By up to $160.

Outside, the revisions start with a new front fascia and rear bumper. It has less chrome and fewer slats than before, making for a much more pleasing appearance. SE models add LED running lights to the new headlight design.

Inside there is new trim and detailing around the cabin, along with a revised instrument cluster. New for 2018, all trims get heated seats and a driver information display. Hill-start assist is standard, as is a back-up camera.

All Yaris hatchbacks have Toyota's Safety Sense C with includes Toyota's pre-collision system, lane departure warnings, and automatic high beams.

The base CE is three-door only and comes with a 6.1-inch display audio system and new 15-inch steel wheels. The five-door comes in LE and SE. LE has air conditioning, keyless entry, cruise control, and power mirrors. Top SE trim adds satellite radio, two more speakers for the stereo, a leather-wrapped wheel, and projector headlights. It has new 16-inch alloys and a rear spoiler.

The Yaris hatch has a 1.5L engine that makes 106 hp. Transmission choices are a five-speed manual or a four-speed automatic.
