All the Fast Fords on Track in Chase Race

Ford has put all eight Ford Performance models together on track for a race. Since the Ford Performance lineup ranges from the massive 2018 F-150 Raptor to the GT race car, they've had to switch it up to make things fair. It's a staggered start chase race.

It's the kind of race that's been a video game staple for years. Take cars with wildly different performance, and then let the slow cars start first. The fast cars then have to chase them down and pass for the win.

The race was on the Motorland Aragon circuit near Barcelona, Spain, and it featured the Ford Raptor, Fiesta ST, Focus ST and RS, Ford Mustang GT and Mustang GT350R, Ford GT road car and a Ford GT race car. On the 5.3 km track, that saw the Raptor get a 48-second head start over the GT racer, with the other cars spread out based on performance.

With the staggered start, all the cars should arrive near the finish at the same time. That's when it gets interesting. With top speed differences of over 100 km/h and power differences of nearly 500 hp, the bunched up pack can get a little hairy. Watch the video to see who wins and who brings up the back.
