Surf's Up for Nissan Titan Surfcamp

Nissan's hanging 10, or maybe that's hanging four, with its latest Titan project. The Titan Surfcamp is their beach-ready oasis inspired by vintage campers and relaxing by the ocean.

The Titan Surfcamp starts off as a Titan XD diesel Midnight Edition Crew Cab. It's using a Cummins 5.0L diesel V8. Then Nissan adds custom bits. The first is an Icon suspension lift kit. The coil-over suspension kit is available at Nissan dealers and adds 3.0-inches of lift. Helping it navigate the dunes are Icon wheels and Nitto Ridge Grappler off-road tires. A massive front bumper helps protect the nose.

The exterior wrap matches the paint colour available on the 1967 Nissan Patrol and features graphics that recall '60s surf culture. Inside, it has wetsuit-inspired seat covers and heavy-duty floor mats. Not that those will help you to ever get all of the sand out. Seriously, that stuff gets everywhere.

Locked into the Titan's bed is a Decked bed drawer storage system with compartments for fishing tackle, wetsuits, and other gear. Up top is a Freespirit Recreation roof-mounted tent that sets up to let you chill and give you the best view around of the sunrise (or sunset, depending on which coast you're enjoying).

The Surfcamp gets custom fishing rod mounts to let you catch some lunch, and has racks for your board. It's even got a Yeti 118 L cooler. And when you're done with the ocean for the day, a solar shower lets you clean off.

The Surfcamp joins Nissan's Smokin Titan BBQ truck and 370Zki as part of Nissan's lifestyle-themed project builds. It will debut at a sportsfishing show in Orlando this month before heading out west for the Supergirl Surf Pro in Oceanside, CA.
