Toyota Prices 2019 Sequoia SUV

Toyota's big Sequoia SUV doesn't see any changes for 2019, but it does get a price increase this year. Base pricing sneaks up by $775, with other trims up $800.

Like its namesake, the Sequoia has been a long-lived model for Toyota. But this pickup-based body on frame SUV is still one of just a few sport utilities on the market if you're trying to haul a lot of passengers and a lot of stuff either inside or on a trailer. The base truck is equipped to tow an impressive 3,175 kg (7,000 lb), and can tote up to eight passengers.

It also has Toyota's Safety Sense P system that comes with pre-collision system, lane departure alert, auto high beams and radar cruise control.

The base trim is the SR5 5.7L that uses Toyota's 5.7L V8 producing 381 hp and 401 lb-ft. Backing that is a six-speed automatic and a real four-wheel drive system with locking centre differential, limited-slip rear, and two-speed transfer case. It also has 18-inch alloys, and eight-speaker audio system, and leather seats.

Next up is the Sequoia TRD Sport. The TRD model comes with TRD tuned Bilstein shocks, TRD sway bars, black alloy wheels and parking sensors. The middle row adds captain's chairs in place of a bench, and there are TRD trim pieces inside and out.

The Limited ups the luxury factor with 12-speaker audio with nav, heated front seats, power tailgate, and ventilation controls on the steering wheel. The Platinum trim raises it again with adaptive suspension, a 14-speaker JBL audio system and perforated leather seating with heat and ventilation up front.

The 2019 Toyota Sequoia is on sale now.
