Toyota Prices 2019 Highlander At $37,000

Toyota has announced the 2019 version of its Highlander mid-size crossover is priced to start at $37,000, an increase of $850.

For that extra dough, the entry-level LE FWD trim gets just one revision: a black lower rocker panel.

LE AWD trim sees its price rise $800, which brings with it standard blind spot monitoring and rear cross traffic alert. An LE AWD Convenience Package is carried over unchanged but goes up in price by $1,390.

XLE AWD trim comes into 2019 unchanged, but with an $800 price bump.

SE trim, formerly an option on the XLE, is now a stand-alone trim priced at $47,405, an $1,165 increase that includes new LED fog lights and black SE badging, grille and headlight surrounds.

Highlander Limited is unchanged, but carries a $1,155 price increase.

The Highlander Hybrid remains part of the family, starting in XLE trim at $50,950, a $315 increase. Highlander Hybrid Limited trim comes in at $57,260, a $620 bump that adds LED fog lights to the list of standard equipment.

As before, power comes from a 3.5L V6 engine that makes 295 hp and 263 lb-ft of torque in the gasoline Highlander, and a total of 306 hp in the Highlander Hybrid's gas-electric powertrain.

The 2019 Toyota Highlander is on sale now at the brand's dealerships across the country.
