Lexus has announced Canadian pricing for its ES sedan lineup, which gains an all-wheel-drive option for 2021, along with a new engine for its entry-level model.
That makes for a wide variety of 2021 Lexus ES models, including an all-new Black Line trim, which adds blue or white paint along with a two-tone interior to F Sport ES 350 cars along with black side mirror housings and a black rear spoiler.
A new 203-hp four-cylinder engine and all-wheel-drive system combine to create the ES 250 AWD. Last year's entry-level ES 350 started from $45,100 and the new ES 250 AWD is $45,050. More significantly, an ES 350 with the 302-hp 3.5L V6 now starts from $49,250. That, however, does include the premium package that was a $4,150 option last year.
The ES 250 starts with a Signature Package including 17-inch alloy wheels, 10-speaker audio with an 8.0-inch display, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel, along with heated and ventilated front seats, leather, and a power moonroof. The Premium Package adds a 12.3-inch screen, navigation, heated steering wheel, driver seat memory, blind spot monitor with rear cross traffic alert, and intelligent clearance sonar. For a more sporty ES 250 AWD, the F Sport Series 1 starts with the Signature model and adds active noise control, 19-inch F Sport wheels, and NuLuxe F Sport seats as well as an F Sport appearance pack including revised fascias and lip spoiler.
The front-wheel-drive V6-powered ES 360 has the 12.3-inch screen with navigation as standard, along with the rest of the ES 250 Premium's features, and NuLuxe seats. The ES 350 Luxury adds 18-inch alloys, leather seats with more adjustments, and triple LED adaptive headlights. It also has wireless charging. The Ultra Luxury trim comes with noise-reducing wheels, 17-speaker Mark Levinson audio, and Semi-Aniline leather seats. It also has a head-up display and a power-operating trunk.
The F Sport Series 2 adds adaptive variable suspension to Premium, as well as active noise control, 10-inch head-up display, the adaptive LED headlights, wireless device charging, and F Sport styling including seats, 19-inch wheels, and exterior appearance package. New this year, the limited Black Line Edition adds the details mentioned above.
Also available is the ES 300h Hybrid, in Premium Luxury and Ultra Luxury, equipped like the similarly named ES 350 models but with a hybrid drive system that's rated at 5.3 L/100 km combined.
