Ford Escape 2006Change

Awesome car. Lasted a long time with minor things to fix. Great look. A lot of space for other stuff besides people. Good for long travels. Roomy for people in the car. Safe and affordable ride.

I bought this Escape not two years ago, thought it was great, went to get new shocks put on and was told they could not put them on, the wheel well was rotten and the shock mount was broken of, went on the web and there is lots of people with the same thing, talk to Ford Canada and they know about it and said sorry. Talk to your local dealer which I did 3500 to 5000 to fix, the 04 to 06 they this make sure you look good under all that under coating Ford puts on.

This is a truly amazing SUV. I had it for years and had almost no issues with it. Looks great, drives great! It's the most stylish in its class compared to its competitors, and it's reliable...

I loved it and would recommend it to anyone thinking of purchasing it!

have had this car for over 3 years not too many problems, only major prob was break lines(driving down road and the line opened from "wear and tear" so I suddenly found myself without breaks but safely stopped using emerg break and my husband put all new lines, rotors, and pads on for $300 but overall am very happy with vehicle!!

Very useful car, build like a truck, very reliable, never let me down, very ergonomic, lot of torque, economic for a SUV, low maintenance.

I really enjoy this vehicle, it is in very good condition. This vehicle was excellent for road trips! Anytime I needed to escape the city for the weekend it never let me down.

It has been very good to me so I hope the next owner will treat her well. The reason for selling is that i'm moving close to downtown and will no longer be needing a vehicle for my commute, however, I plan on getting another ford escape in the future.

This was my first car ever and it was very good to me. Never had an issue except for normal wear and tear. I loved it and would highly recommend it to anyone.

This car has run great since I got it 2 years ago. It is a pig on gas but what can you expect out of a V6 engine.

This car has been one of the best town and highway cars we have owned and that includes prior to this 8 Jeep Cherokees.

At first this car was fantastic however as time passed I found myself continuously returning to the garage for repairs for various parts. Also, the fuel economy was average however there are many newer machines on the market now with much greater fuel economy.

I have the base model but it's still extremely comfortable, relatively good on fuel for an SUV and extremely roomy. Wouldn't hesitate to buy another one!

I've had this car for 6 years and it has served it's purpose by pulling my 17' boat in and out of several boat launches. So for towing capacity it was very good. However the trucks biggest downfall is it's fuel economy which is really poor. My 50 Liter tank only gets me me about 400 Km. Which works out to about 20 Km/L. I've had to change the brakes twice, the front tires twice even though I use another set of winter tires for 5 months and the alternator. I'll be switching cars soon and will have to convinced by reliable sources that the new 2013 Ford Escape has much better fuel economy for me to buy another one. Might switch to the 2013 Toyota Rav 4

I Have driven this car back and forth from Calgary Alberta to Vancouver BC several times and have never had a single thing go wrong with it - not even a flat tire... As well have driven all over Bc and Alberta in some pretty rough, cold weather too.. Up and down mountain passes and long lonely stretches of highway where she has run on fumes... i am never nervous driving her - she is not 4-wheel drive but she will go anywhere.... She is reliable, comfortable and easy on gas... She really is my "old faithful"... I will be upset the day I have to part with her...

Love the ford escape. Bought it used last year and i have loved it ever since. Very comfortable on the inside and its quite a fun ride. Stylish exterior and also very versatile. Smaller version of an SUV if that is what interests you. Overall, I would definitely recommend.

Nice looking, ride is fine, accleration is a bit slow, handles winter well, lots of space. Styling outside is eye appealing. The noise factor though is quite high from the road and could be a lot better. Seats need to be designed to be a lot more comfortable and user friendly. Love the backup sensor.

love the handleing in winter and comfort , lots of room for things good on gas love the looks , less repairs and tells me when i need to change oil and tire presure and other things if it needs them

Very dependable, easy to drive and park. It is a great winter vehicle with all wheel drive and remote start. You won't be stuck in any parking lots, trying to get going on approaches or stop lights. Those problems will be gone !
