Ford F-150 1985Change

it has been a great vehicle for me and has never let me down. i have never had a problem with it and it has never given up .

I got this truck in 1987, and it had 21,000 KM on it. The truck was bought for a older couple to tow a trailer they were buying. They had recently retired and figured they were going to travel all across North America. They enjoyed their time on the road but this was their first time camping in about 25 years and they realized camping wasn't for they at that time.
Luckily for me they put the truck and the trailer up for sale and I was able to buy them both.
I worked in construction and the truck was perfect for what I needed. It was used for transporting drywall, bags of concrete, etc., This truck was a work horse that towed it's original trailer across Canada 4 times from Ontario to BC and back for vacations, it enjoyed heading to Northern Ontario for moose and deer hunting. And it was always ready for whatever was thrown at while needed for working. I had the truck until 1998 when I replaced it with a 1998 Ford F350 which I had a dump box installed on it. the 1985 had almost 360,000 Km on it when I sold it. It was bought by 18 yr. old guy and I'm not sure what ever became of it from then on.

I now have 2 Ford trucks for work, a F250 extended cab and a 150 4door for everyday use. Ford has always and I think always will fill any of my driving needs.
