Toyota RAV4 1990-2017Change

This has been a great vehicle driving 10k of gravel/mud daily with 200K mileage. Great fuel economy, drives well with quick responses to steering input, best non-ABS brakes I've driven. Seeing quite a bit of gravel damage on the rocker panels though at 200K what can you expect. Good headlights, excellent transmission, interior has held up well. Exceptional in winter, good highway manners mountains and prairies. Would buy another one of only they still came with 3 pedals and a stick shift.

The 4 cylinder Rav4 is great on gas, drives really well, fits lots of gear and is still great for in town errands and highway excursions. There have been more issues with the Rav4 since it was redesigned in 2006 and turned into the V6 model, but this 2005 is a great car.

I just have to say I have owned this car for 6 years...amazing reliability, great fuel economy,,,starts no problem in 40 below...
impressed by build quality...no squeaks or rattles...still looks almost like new after 15 years...recommend his suv to anyone.

Bought for my wife to drive around with our newborn. It has great space, great fuel efficiency and is fun to drive. We tried it on a trip across Ontario and was pleasantly surprised with 4 people, a dog and a cartop carrier with its power, fuel efficiency and comfort. Great car for all around use, also has AWD and great safety features.

Very reliable. pretty cheap on gas considering it is AWD, V6 SUV. performance and comfort are very important so I gave a 5 star rating. It is very comfy with power seats, back up camera, and more. the retain value is also excellent as well, but I will probably keep this car for as long as I can.

I have depended on this car in the rain, snow and icey conditiions. It has not failed me.
The dark tinted windowas minimized the sun's glare and added extra protection for all my parcels.

Have had vehicle for 1 yr now and driven 32000kms (vehicle at 90,000km). No repairs only maintenance. Original tires replaced at 80000kms. Test drove all 3 trim levels and all 3 engines 2.4, 2.5 and 3.5. For the marginal difference in fuel economy went with the V6 with its 266hp! Really appreciate the power on the highway. Surprised I haven't rec'd ticket because of the crazy acceleration. The styling is very sharp. Driver seat is very comfortable with lumbar support. Stereo is basic and could be better. All controls for heating/cooling and radio easy to use. I am getting 11L/100 which is combination highway/city. Only 1 complaint and its annoying, rear door with its left hinged door doesn't make sense and now it has started to squeak with every bump in the road, been to Toyota 3 times in 4 months, the best is 1 month without the squeak before it returned.

I've owned this car since 2000, it's reliable and has great gas mileage. back seat is on the small side for passengers. Motor runs very quiet, and only had regular maintenance work done.

It is very comfortable to drive it, completely worry-free, with large space, very useful, especially for families.

This is one of the best cars that i have ever owned. I found it very easy to drive and comfortable ride. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone!!

Very reliable. Good fuel economy. Really enjoy driving this vehicle. Have travelled from Vancouver to Whitehorse and back again twice. Been back and forth to Edmonton from Vancouver several times. Never had any problems and was comfortable the whole time.

We have owned our Toyota Rav4 for almost 2 years now. We bought the car used with low KMs on it. We have had no real repair costs on it, aside from the normal maintenance (oil changes). We have the 4 cylinder and love that we get the size of the vehicle with fairly low fuel costs. Has been highway driven quite a bit and fairs well in all weather. The inside is nothing flashy- actually quite simple and plain, which we like. Overall, very happy with our purchase!

My Rav4 looks like a new car. I do a thorough job of waxing twice a year and I think that has kept my ride looking beautiful. My car has never given me any problems as I keep it well maintained. I'm still proud to drive it!

I have decided to drive this car into the ground, so far so good. When I buy another car it will be a RAV4. My friends all ask me to drive to the ski hill, hiking and biking.

My mother has owned this car from the beginning. No one was allowed to eat or drink in it. She drove it with care and looked after it with proper maintenance from the beginning. She has an automotive background. No problems with vehicle over the years hence a reliable car. Rare vehicle as they stopped making them in 1999. Difficult to find one like this on the web. Moving and will be using family vehicle so no need to hang on to it at this time. Good on gas as it is not a 4x4. Drove in it many times over the years.

Fun to drive, lots of passing power, spacious interior, lots of storage space. Purchased Rav over CRV for V6 and comfort.

We have owned the Toyota Rav 4 Limited for 3.5 years now. It is very reliabile and fantastic on fuel. For a 2.5 liter- 4 cylinder engine it has lots of get up and go. We are on the highway quite often and gas millage is great. Going to miss that driving our new Toyota Highlander V6.

Purchased the sport model new over two years ago. No problems. Design very well thought out. Very happy with car and wouldn't trade it for any other in its price range.

Reliable... just put in gas and drive! I have had my RAV4 for over a year now and had no problems whatsoever! Love it!!!

It was very easy and cool to drive. The design just seduced me the day I saw i and when I was driving this car for 1month I was relax. Indeed it was my best friend car.

This small SUV is great on gas for its class, but still has enough get and go when you put the pedal down. Plenty of cargo space and with the flip up or take out rear seats you can pack almost anything into the back. Highly recommend the SUV to anyone who wants to save a bit at the pump, but still have that extra room without buying a minivan.

I just love this car, easy to drive, doesn't excesive ammounts of gas, is compact on the outside but spacious on the inside, just love it!

Drive test one today! The car is reliable and fast! Great acceleration from the start. Fuel economy is amazing. You wonder why you see so many Rav4's on the street because its a great car to have for many years.
