Volkswagen Golf 2011Change

Enjoyed driving this car. Has excellent fuel economy. The only draw back is its size. Getting in and out of it requires me as a small person to shove back the seat. Husband appreciated that as he can hardly get in when the seat is where I need it to drive.

I purchased this car used, so far I have put 30000 kilometers on it with no problems what so ever. It never gets boring. It looks small and some times big. The interior and the gauges are a joy for long rides and you don't even have to stop at gas stations on road trips which adds up to the confidence. My favorite part is absolutely the torque, its a diesel thing and its just massive and is all there whenever you touch the pedal. The DSG is too good to be true and it helps the driver so much when braking that sometimes I let go of it even when going downhill, if you start braking downhill, it will downshift automatically to tell you how much it loves you. The steering is one of those features that will either make the customer fall in love or hate the car and the Golf TDI steering is as German as it gets, compare it to a Honda then to a BMW and you will get what I mean.

This car is an absolute work of art. Its an affordable VW diesel that sneaks and blends in with gasoline and hybrid cars on the road, only to pass them by, quietly and without any diesel smell, not on the outside, or the inside.

If only this car had all-wheel drive.

I now decided to explore more cars so I'm selling this baby and going for a 2008 Golf R32 for this season but I intend to go back to diesel eventually, its just unique in its own way.

This car is fun to drive, comfortable even for tall people, sporty looking, has many safety features, hatchback is great and it's high quality overall.

Fun to drive, very good fuel economy, many nice extras to discover while you drive. All around a car you will enjoy in summer and in winter.

Excellent handling due to the sports suspension. Ride quality is affected though and you really feel the potholes and the bumps in the rode. 40,000kms and no problems whatsoever. Excellent interior that is built to last and simple user-friendly controls.

Mostly used for going and coming from work...great ride...it handles really well especially in winter conditions

VW in general has been designing cars with style and what bothers me is when they change the good thing into a crazy design. If you look at 2011 VW Golf Sportline its an absolute beauty inside and out. The interior, the colors and materials used shows they are proud to show the car. There isn't a single car I have seen so far that GOLF 2011 offers. Technology offered inside is also great but they need to lower the price. Performance and sound of the engine, quiet ride ( sound proofing improved in MK6) Love this car all the way.

great little car for driving around the city and on the highway but with the sport package long distances are uncomfortable. The suspension is too hard and after about two hours the seats start hurting your back. Overall good car with good mileage average about 5.8L/100km

The 2011 Golf is a great little car for highway and city driving, it is very fuel efficient as well as comfortable. Easy to handle in both winter and summer time

Wonderful to drive with terrific power and acceleration. Getting 4.4 l/100 km on the highway is also nice and diesel fuel sells for $.15/litre less than gasoline

We have only had this car a short time so can't really comment on reliability.

We are enjoying driving it as it is fun to drive and much peppier than our old Corolla but fuel economy is not as good.
