1991 Chevrolet Corvette

by alkymouse on 10-03-2013
this is a driver's car
car is exceptional for it's handling quality, it is extremely responsive to quick directional changes and corners without hardly any body roll, the ride is sports car choppy as can be expected with suspension/shocks that are on this vehicle. It is it should be for a Corvette. This car has very good performance but it is not a quarter mile screamer, where it stands out is in the handling. It is an exceptional driving experience while retaining the reliability of a family sedan with low maintenance cost. Insurance costs for this car are not high, assuming that your driving record is clean, and your investment is very low for the performance level you are getting

Feels like a real sports car
Put close to 10,000 km on the car and never had a issue with it. the ZR1 is one car u must drive to experience the thrill of a car that was produced in the 90s and claimed to be the king of the hill. love to hold on to it but got to get ride of for the family is growing and we r building.

1991 Chevrolet Corvette

Trim: ZR-1

King of the hill
I still remember my dad picking my up from junior high school in this thing. All the kids walking towards it whispering how awesome it was. After that, everyone thought I was cool! Ok, well my dad was cool at least.

At the time it was the ZR-1 and the Viper neck and neck for the most awesome car on the road. The viper had an acceleration edge, the ZR-1 had a top speed.

The ZR-1 of that era put out about 400hp. back in those days it was a lot. While todays ZR-1 use the simple pushrod engine design with a supercharger. The 90's ZR-1 used a normally aspirated DOHC 4 valve per cylinder all aluminium v8. It was and still is the most complex engine Chevy ever put into a corvette. They are pretty rare cars and although reliable, it would not be easy to source parts.
