2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee

i bought a lemon
I loved the look and feel of my jeep....5.7 hemi so fuel economy wasn't great. my jeep was at the dealership way too often getting fixed. one thing after another. wish that wasn't the case cause it was a great vehicle......sometimes you just buy a lemon of a vehicle.

Great AWD vehicle
Awesome in the winter and on and off the trails. Towed well, hardly notice tent trailer was there, kids loved the DVD System and wife trusted the jeep would bring her home safely from long winter commutes. The AWD and traction control systems are second to none and worked flawlessly. I had no issues with any of the interior systems and just the usual maintenance with the powertrain. Just wish the fuel economy would of been a bit better.

One of the best SUV's out there!
With out a doubt my 2005 Grand Cherokee Limited is the best vehicle that i have owned so far. Smooth but solid ride and very comfortable. It would take a heck of a lot to knock this Jeep off its feet. Very planted on the road and handles great. The 5.7L 325hp HEMI... well you cant beat it. Plenty of power and accelerates effortlessly. With the HEMI power-train, towing is a breeze. You hardy know your trailer or boat is there. With all that power come a little sacrifice in fuel mileage but is still very reasonable given the size of the Jeep. The interior and exterior design is timeless in my opinion. My Jeep is a 2005 but all cleaned up it still looks like it could be a new car. My Grand Cherokee has never let me down. Its a great ride, would defiantly look at getting another one in the future.

Good all round suv.
The experience with a grand cherokee was very good with it towing a boat like it not ever there. All kinds of leg room for every one kids the dvd in back so can watch a movie on long rides, hasgrat room in back to car dogs to beach or on a trip. The cargo racks on top work great to cover bikes or charing other materials.

2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Great SUV, love the stance and look of the Grand Cherokee 05 body style. Suspension is stiff and not "boaty" like old car suspension. Sterring wheel is tight, not lose. Handles and drives great for an SUV.

Fantastic Car with High Upkeep Costs
Excellent car with a style that never really gets old. Extremely spacious and in fact, I've used the car several times to help friends move and for myself as well. Its big enough to fit medium sized furniture. The only issue is the high upkeep costs and the numerous times that the car has failed on me (On average once every one and a half years). If its not the engine, its the ignition or when all of a sudden my key is not recognized by the car. Fuel economy is also not that great. Despite these issues, the pros still outweighed the costs so I would give it 4/5.

A V8 makes a big difference
This is nit my first jeep, and it wont be my last. the 2005 Grand Cherokee has always been my fav jeep. i have wanted one since chrysler released it. so when i got my chance to own one i jumped at the offer and i went the all the way. my jeep meet every standard i had for performance with the 5.7 HEMI but with 325hp comes very poor fuel economy. The ride was smooth some of the time but at the same time its a jeep. The interior is vary Mercedes Benz with the hint of cheap plastic and unusual small cabin space. The exterior is vary peaceful and and makes you remember what chrysler can do when there using there mind. Reliability well it may be made on a Benz platform ,but its still a chrysler. but unlike my sebring or my 1993 jeep i think this jeep will be here for a while.

My jeep Laredo
This car i bought used when it was 4 years old has been the best car that I have ever bought.I purchased this SUV because my wife ,Daughter, and I were in a band and we needed lots of cargo space.I could have bought a van but i much prefer the SUV for the AWD and 4x4 features.I have not had to spend a penny on this car since I bought it.

Very Reliable
The only downfall with this jeep is blindspots, being taller (6') my vision is cut off by the cabin structure and supports therefore I need to be extra cautious at intersections and take the time to double check all angles I have actually lost entire vehicles in the windshield supports.

2005 Jeep Grande Cherokee Limited
I have had this vehicle for 6 years and currently have about 120,000 km on it. In addition it has been towed behind a motorhome for another 30,000 km. It has the 5.4 Hemi. The only time it has let us down was when a pinion seal failed on the front differential. We love the versatility, it will pull or haul a lot, it is comfortable (leather seats) and has an outstanding traction and all wheel drive system. Economy is reasonable for the performance this Jeep has.

Handles great and comfortable!
I owned a 2005 and loved it. We moved out of town so I sold it due to the mileage it was getting. Big mistake, I would trade gas mileage for comfort. These Jeeps look great, ride nice and even the most basic models have lots of options. I wouldn't consider the V8 Hemi, heard they are real pigs on gas but the new V6 models sound like they improved on gas mileage since the 2005's. This is a vehicle you will not be disappointed in.
