Love my Escape
I have owned my Escape for 5 years now. It has been a wonderful travel companion. I do a lot of highway driving and its a nice smooth ride and has the power to pass people quickly when needed. I love the interior look, very sporty and well laid out. I have had to replace the front differential at around 130000KMS and then the alternator a week later. Been very reliable otherwise. Not awesome on gas but then again it is 4 wheel drive. I would defiantly recommend an Escape to anyone looking for a sporty, fun to drive vehicle.

Nice riding front wheel drive suv
Driving home from Tulsa, the suv was safe and easy to drive long distance. It is easy to maneuver around town and has a great seating position for visibility.

Very Versatile
This car has never given me any problems. The vehicle is very reliable and versatile. It has enough room and power to haul and carry items. Great 4 wheel drive system for poor road conditions. Lots of features. Fantastic vehicle all around!!!

BEAUTY!
I love this SUV. It has been reliable. The ride is comfortable. Never had any problems. It is great in the Winter and in the Summer. My car is well maintained, regular oil changes. I will miss my Escape!

Problems, Problems, Problems!
I should have taken it back when it broke down on the way home, but the dealer convinced me that the Coilpack broke down due to the engine shampoo (made sense). Three months later it took another coil...then another...then another...then the computer failed...then another coil. I never know when this thing is going to leave me on the side of the road. If I wasn't mechanically minded it would cost me $600 every time a coil went due to having to take the intake manifold off...Luckily I do it myself, but I'm getting sick and tired of doing it!!!!

One of the Best Cars I've Owned
I've owned may Cars and SUV's over the years. Both domestic and imports. By far my 2005 Ford Escape Limited has been the most reliable & trouble free vehicle I've ever owned. Except for normal maintainace items like batteries, windshield wipers and tires the Escape is pretty much original. Not only has it been reliable and trouble free it has held up exceptionaly well conserning everyday wear and tear. It certainly doesn't look like a seven year old car. It looks great. Everything works as it did when I bought it six years ago.
I couldn't be happier with this car. I'll be sad to see it go.

My Great Escape . . .
My Escape had been an unbelievably reliable SUV. I haven't had a days troble with my Escape. Only had to replace normal maintainance items, such as, Tires, Battery, and Brake pads. The Escape is comfortable, quite, and a joy to drive. It's great in both good and bad weather. It handles all road and weather conditions with ease. I would highly recommend the Fors Escape to anyone looking for a reasonably sized SUV.

Good reliable , hard on gas around town,feel a lot of bumps due to large tiresbut good traction changes to four wheel drive automatically so easy for wife in snow. made in us in miles not km , no block heater but could put in easily, seats remove easy for larger load. hatchback style lift up good for easy grocery loads and unloads. good leg room in front little tight in back seat.

This SUV is great on gas, has all the comforts of the V6 escape. In 7 years we put 350000km on it and it has never failed us. The only thing that we found we were replacing often was the tie rod ends. Not sure if that was because of the hard driving or if it is a common problem with this vehicle.

Reasonable and Reliable
Bought the car with 60,000 km and have had it for 5 years with very little repairs needed other than regular maintenance, brakes and tires. Handles very well in rain and winter conditions. Would buy another.
