Pricing for the all-new 2019 Ram 1500 Pickup has been released. The new model starts with the quad-cab Tradesman and goes up to the top trim Limited.
The Tradesman and Bighorn trims come with a 3.6L V6 with eTorque mild hybrid system. The engine makes 305 hp with 269 lb-ft of torque, and gets an additional 90 lb-ft thanks to the electric assist. Optional on those trims, and standard on Sport, Laramie, Laramie Longhorn, and Limited is a 5.7L Hemi V8 with eTorque assist. The V8 makes 395 hp with 410 lb-ft and gets a 130 lb-ft boost from the hybrid system.
The new truck is 102 kg lighter than last year, trim for trim. That, combined with the revised powertrains, makes the new 1500 Ram's most fuel-efficient truck.
It offers a new suspension that improves the already impressive ride, along with bigger brakes to help get things stopped. Five USB ports area available in the new cabin that also boasts infotainment screens up to 12.0-inches.
The new truck offers a list of active safety features that include adaptive headlights, radar cruise control, and blind spot monitoring.
The new truck can haul up to 1,045 kg and tow up to 5,795 kg, up 969 kg from the old model.
The new truck is expected to arrive at dealers in the second quarter of the year.
