Acura Holds Pricing On Refreshed 2019 ILX

Acura has held the line on pricing for its ILX compact sedan which, for 2019, gets refreshed styling, a number of new or updated standard features and a revised trim structure.

Prices across the ILX range, including the $29,990 entry point, remain the same for 2019 despite the notable list of changes to the car itself.

Key among those is the car's adoption of Acura's diamond pentagon grille, new seven-element LED headlights, LED taillights, restyled 17-inch wheels and a new silver-and-chrome dash insert. New options include a two-way driver lumbar adjustment and a dual-screen secondary control system bearing the catchy "On Demand Multi-Use Display" moniker.

Also updated is the sportier A-Spec trim, which gets a new 18-inch wheel design, new sport seats in black or red leather and ultrasuede, LED fog lights, darkened head- and taillight treatments, a gloss-black decklid spoiler, piano black dash trim and a trim-specific steering wheel with contrast stitching.

The 2019 Acura ILX is once again offered in base and Premium trims, but last year's Tech trim is replaced by the A-Spec in Premium Dress, and the top trim is now A-Spec Tech. However, prices for the three top packages -- $32,490, $33,990 and $35,390 -- are the same as those for last year's model

As before, all ILX trims use a 2.4L four-cylinder engine that makes 201 hp and 180 lb-ft of torque. The sole transmission is an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic.
