Genesis Prices Refreshed G90

Genesis Motors has just revealed pricing for the redesigned 2020 Genesis G90 full-size luxury sedan. With a host of extras included in the price, the G90 5.0 will start from just under $90,000.

For 2020, the flagship of Hyundai's Genesis brand gets a refresh, starting with a new nose featuring quad taillights and a wider diamond-shaped grille. At the back, there's a new full-width taillight and a relocated license plate frame.

Inside, it gets a new split-screen-capable 12.3-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The G90 has also added active noise cancellation to reduce unwanted noise from outside the cabin. New driver aids include lane-centring and Highway Driving Assist – the system watches the car in front, the navigation route, and lane markings to help steer and control speed on the highway. There's also a new cyclist detection system and a safe exit assist feature that alerts the driver and passengers if something is coming up behind them when they try to open the door.

The 2020 Genesis G90 arrives in Canada with standard all-wheel drive and a 5.0L, 420 hp V8 for $89,750. That's the Genesis all-in price, which includes all delivery and destination fees. Plus complimentary maintenance, Genesis Connected Services, and Genesis at Home concierge service for five years or 100,000 km.

Buyers wanting a little less power will be able to special order a 3.3L twin-turbo V6 with 356 hp for $86,750.

The new G90 is available to order now, and cars are on their way to stores. Genesis says it should be available coast-to-coast by the end of the month.
