My experience with this car has been excellent. This is a very fun vehicle to drive. Superb handling, tremendous acceleration - you feel like you own the road. Not the best fuel economy in it's class but everything else about the car makes up for it.

This car has been great to me, drove it to Winnipeg for a summer road trip last summer at was a blast!

i have had the exact same car! love it! so reliable and very good on gas. 323i BMW's have alot of power and are very quick. not like the previous 320 or 318i bmw cars i have owned. 5/5

i have never had a problem with this car. i drove it far places before she doesnt eat gas like other cars.

Well built, Well Designed. Reliable, Functional and Gets Looks. The E46 was a real challenge for BMW as they had to improve on the E36 and they DID!!

Peppy, powerful, comfortable driver's seat, good adjustents, excellent gearbox. This car is always a joy to drive.

After owning this car for 12 years, I finally decided to buy a new one. In the 12 years I owned it, not once did it give me any trouble. This car was as powerful on the first day as on the last day I owned it. No change in performance or quality over the years.

1999 was the year BMW changed the look of the 3 series. It was a head-turner back then, and kept its style over the 12 years, never once looking dated. I am glad to see that BMW has improved its styling since the 80's.

As an old car, it cost a few bucks in repairs - too bad the previous owner neglected regular maintenance. Now that I've replaced the water pump and the shocks, it's a great car. Love the styling and the performance.

13 years on and I still enjoy driving this car. 3 Series, 2.8 litre, rear drive and 5 speed. Step on the gas, point the car where you want to go and it goes - in any gear on any road - straight or twisty. Sounds simple doesn't it.

Thirty-six foot turning circle makes parking and u-turns a breeze (I'm looking at you TSX). Dash angled toward the driver and the console mounted window switches w/ express up/down on all windows are welcome sporty touches. Three quick flicks to open or close the windows and sunroof (not an air-con fan).

Alas, BMW is not famous for reliability. Ok, you can look at me now TSX.

This car has great safety features, the level of finishing is typical quality only Germans can do. The performance is great considering the engine size and fuel economy it delivers. The cabin is a great place to be with everything well laid out with good leg room in the back. Overall a great all rounder.

This car was the most reliable fun car I have had! When you take care of them, don't modify them, and drive them responsibly, they will go forever. They are also pretty easy to work on. I did not drive mine in the winter and you have to be vigilant to find one without rust. They are getting hard to find with low mileage, no rust, and no modifications.
