one of the best BMWs out there
the chassis out perform the engine any day. such a smooth ride. you can put a V10 in it and it'll still feel at home. very stable at high speeds. beautiful outside. amazing interior design. fuel consumption is somewhat more than modern cars.

2002 BMW 330i M3 Kit
Best car I've owned so far in terms of handling and ride. It is amazing how the handling and ride is dramatically improved with only a 10mm lowered suspension. Combined with the sports suspension, the road feedback and handling, cornering, ride are awesome. Haven't driven another car that drives so well, the best of both worlds in sports and comfort. Had driven a Ferrari, it is nice, but not your everyday ride (very loud, stiff steering, low and hard suspension). Mercedes Benz E-class is a luxury car, not a sports car (so not appropriate comparison). VW Jetta TDI is a workhorse, but the drive is no where near the BMW. Love it. Will buy a similar, newer one, M3 or sports, and diesel.

E46 Beauty's
Amazing vehicle! This coming from a previous owner of not one but two E46 BMW's. I have always loved E46 body style BMW's.
Sporty look and reliable!! A great little ride to have especially in summer. The brand speaks for itself. Security, comfort, and fun.
A must try! Interior is sporty and luxurious. Exterior is built perfectly to modify to your liking. Original BMW rims, great quality, durable, and look great!
I greatly recommend this vehicle, you will not be disappointed!!
German cars are built to impress.

Amazing Handling
This car is BMW at its finest. Hugs corners, smooth luxurious drive. Great attention to interior detail. Great performance. Great looking "old school" exterior. Throwback to true BMW design.

Trim: 325CI Sport and winter packages
by Evergreen5548 on 07-28-2013
Best car ever
This is by far the best car experience I have had, Everything is excellent. The 325ci is the E46 body and it is likely one of the most perfected cars built by BMW. I owned the car for 5 years, after one previous owner. It was totally reliable and only sold it to get something newer. I expect to see it still being driven at 500,000km. The Sport and Winter package are rare, but the best to find - Every feature they put on them is on this car and best yet, is that everything still works like new. If parts were ever needed, there is a big after-market for the E46 in the US at low prices, but like I say, there isn't much to do, as this car just keeps going. Also, the fuel economy is amazingly good. My only wish is that BMW would produce the same body style again, as it looks and handles sooo great.

Excellent Stability
The car drives very smoothly. Just like all BMWs, the steering wheel is a bit stiff. The stability and control of the car is excellent. Because it is an all-wheel drive, it is fun to drive in winter. It is a compact nice car to drive.

Nothing like driving a european convertible
The sleek and stylish curves always turns heads. The power from the in-line 6 cylinder engine gives this car some get up and go, especially on the highway. I have taken this car to Vancouver from Calgary many times and the experience is unforgettable, especially with the top down in the mountains. The handling, makes this car an unforgettable driving experience. Its an affordable stylish luxury vehicle. Its a great highway cruiser or even in town driver.

Sporty but unreliable
My BMW 325xi model, built in 2002, is a sporty and prestigious ride. It is fuel efficient and well-equipped for Winter with its all-wheel drive.

HOWEVER, during the 3 years I owned this car (2009 to 2012), I had repairs for $7,000 (!), for example:
- both front window regulators ($1,200)
- engine ventilator ($650)
- water pump ($600)
- both rear springs broken ($700), etc., etc.
Everybody has to decide for himself if it is worth driving a BMW when it comes along with such expensive repairs.

My 2002 BMW 325 XI
My 2002 BMW 325 XI is an AWD and is excelled in handling and braking. The powertrains are smooth and strong but fuel economy is bad - I just got 14.5L/100KM . The automatic transmission is smooth and handling is taut and agile, with good steering feel.

Interior and exterior design is cool but trunk capacity is modest as batteries and CD-exchangers are all within the trunk, so you cannot put things like skis in the trunk.

Awesome car that will put a smile on your face every time you drive it.
Bought this car back in 2006 and recently sold it (July 2012). When I bought the car, it had 40,000 kms on it and I drove it past 190,000. The car is a pleasure to drive and it is one of the best 3 series model in terms of looks and performance. Make sure you get this with a manual tranny. Since it's a BMW, please use 91 octane gas and it does require scheduled maintenance. Make sure you use genuine BMW parts to avoid problems down the road. As long as you keep it tuned, it will not give you problems. I do miss the car a lot but had to sell it because my wife can't drive manual. :(

Ridiculously fun little car to drive!
I bought it when it was 5 years old and have loved it ever since.
My only complaint is the same with any luxury vehicle that is past its warranty date -- super expensive to maintain and/or fix when something goes wrong (as it always does with older vehicles). I've always been impressed with it acceleration and ability to feel confident at high speeds. The race background of this car really become obvious when handling fast turns very comfortably.
