My soul mate
I bought my 2006 Mazda3 in 2005 and I really like it a lot. It feels like I'm driving a sports car. perfec to drive in the snow, since here there always snow it was important to me. The gas milage is ok but i have seen worse. the seat are very comfortable and they are easy to adjust. The exterior design is just perfec not to flashy, not to classy or old, it represent me.

2006 Mazda Mazda3

Great handling
Have the 2.3 litre engine. Performance is excellent. Drives as well as some more expensive compact cars. As far as reliability, the only problem experienced was with a shifting sensor for the automatic transmission. This car has decent leg room in front and rear, and good trunk space for a compact car.
If I was shopping for another car this size, it would be one of them at the top of the list.

Mazda 3 Reveiw
I bought this car brand new and have enjoyed the car everyday since. Very reliable and gets good gas mileage.

Most bang for your money
I got this car second hand from a used car dealership. As long as you give it the proper maintenance care, it will give you years of zipping around. I would keep this car for YEARS to come.

Wouldn't purchase again
I bought this car used in 2010 and it has been far from the ideal vehicle ever since. It uses mainly Ford parts, which have been needing continuous replacement. Even my mechanic advised me to NOT buy another Mazda when I go to purchase my next vehicle.

My Mazda
I've only had mazda's as cars since I've been driving, excelent vehicules reliable and comfy too. I sugess to all friend and family to at least try one when looking for a new car, most of the time love hits and they are part of the big maxda family !!

Mazda 3
Mazda's compact car comes as a 4-dr sedan and 4-dr hatchback. My model is the sedan which I recomend. Added for '06 are i Touring sedans and s Touring and s Grand Touring versions of both body styles. All use a 4-cyl engine. The model I own has have 160-hpand a 5-speed automatic transmission whch includes a manual shift gate. ABS, front side airbags, and curtain side airbags are standard on the GT version. The car came with leather upholstery, heated front seats, and halogen headlamps. A navigation system is not available in Canada but can easily be installed. In all it is a very fun to drive car that will not let you down in the middle of the road.

Ok
Its an OK car. I don't have to fill up very often, but more often then most cars. Its runs smoothly, but i do have problems with a lot of stuff, like the windshield wipers..

I Love my Mazda
I enjoy driving my Mazda 3, love how it handles, gets great gas millage..however it rusts very easily..my under neith is all rusted and had to get new brackets for my muffler a few times as they rusted off and had to greese my park sensor often as it rusts up and stops working.

other then the rust, i have had no problems with it at all!

No stress car

Pretty Good
The best you could expect . and pretty well priced. its been in a few fender benders and one larger scale accident, and everyone made it out okay, so that's the best you can ask for in a car. and it drives well in the snow as well.

Unbelievable
This is the first car that we didn't have to return to the garage to have something fixed.
If it hadn't been for oil changes we probably would have forgotten where the dealership was located.

Old faithful!
This car has never given me any trouble in the five years that I have owned it. It's pretty roomy for a small car and is very comfortable. Perfect for anyone! This car has made many long trips on the highway as well as just going back and forth to work everyday and doesn't seem to go through much gas. I would definately buy this car again.

owned from new, very reliable.
Owned from new - 6 years. Have to say that it is a good reliable car. Cheap to run and maintain.

Only Issues : Had to change rear break callipers & e-break cable.

All-around great little car
We use the Mazda 3 as our second car and my wife commutes in it. Overall it has been pretty reliable but has needed some odd replacement parts (transmission pan, AC Compressor).

What I love about this car is the interior, compared so most other vehicles in its class it really outshines them.

Good car for anyone.
Owned from 44k-100k(present).
Had to replace wheel bearings(has ball bearings not needle bearings, ball can't handle lateral g-forces well)
Would be more reliable if I didn't drive 'spiritedly' all the time
Some road noise in the cabin
Shifts pretty good(standard) gets hung up now and then if you are pushing it
Corners nice and flat

It's not bad.
The engine size for 2006 model is 2.3L compared to 2.0 that is offered today. It certainly can push itself when merging into highway or when you need power it's adequately there. Interior can be much approved.
